The Story Behind the Name
The Third Willie
The name Third Penguin Consulting carries family legacy. Our founder is the third "Willie" in his family lineage — and the name traces back to a business that came before him.
His grandfather established The Penguin bar in the 1950s. His father operated it through the 1980s. Each generation brought their own judgment to a shared inheritance while honoring what came before.
That same ethos shapes every client engagement: respect the history of how your organization has always done things. Understand the reality on the ground — the constraints, the culture, the people.
